- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for failure analysis of and replacement of resettable fuses on the DT-699 Signal Conditioner Boards and to replace the volume compensation window on each module repaired, identified under contract N66604-02-D-1293. Efforts shall include evaluating each failed module, identify the modules whose failures are due to problems with the five surface mount resettable fuses, replace the five fuses on each Signal Conditioner Board and to replace the volume compensation window on each module that is repaired. A sole source contract modification to contract N66604-02-D-1293 with harris Acoustic Products is anticipated, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Harris is currently performing the repairs and restorations under this contract and has unique knowledge and expertise in this area as well as unique test equipment which will facilitate the failure analysis efforts. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil.
