- Only one firm will be selected for this solicitation. Southern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command is presently seeking services for providing 75 seventy-five to 80 eighty, Mobile Homes for the New Orleans, La area. The scope of work includes: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items necessary to provide the trailers to the New Orleans, La. Area, Contractor will also be required to provide maintenance of these units. See the technical requirements below. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed-price contract not to exceed 365 days from the date of contract award. Delivery of these Mobile Homes is required no later than 15 January, 2006. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS a. Contractor shall perform the following for set-up of each unit: (1) Block, level and provide skirting for each unit, as well as, connect the electric furnace and pad mounted A/C unit. The Contractor shall supply two (2) sets of steps for each unit. The Contractor shall unpack and set up all of the furniture in each unit. b. Furnishing of each unit is as follows: (1) Each bedroom shall be furnished with: one (1) full size mattress, box spring and metal bed frame; one (1) chest of four drawers; two (2) nightstands; one (1) double strength mirror (24 in. x 30 in.). (2) Each living room shall be furnished with: one (1) sofa; one (1) armchair; one (1) coffee table; and one (1) end table. (3) Each dining room shall be furnished with: one (1) dinette table and six (6) chairs. (4) Each kitchen shall be furnished with: one (1) electric range and (1) refrigerator. (5) Each unit shall be equipped with one (1) washing machine and one (1) dryer.
