- Description
- The project is for the inspection and the repair of Wanderer, Playmor, Starcraft, and Kit 28 to 32 foot self-contained camp trailers. The number of trailers that will be serviced under this contract will vary from 0 to 35 per year depending on Forest Service Activities in the area. For the 2005 contract year there will be 20 trailers. The Forest Service will deliver trailers to and from the vendor(s) receiving awards. Trailer delivery will begin one or two days after award. The Forest Service will deliver as many trailers as the Contractor requests at a given time. Award of this contract will be made for one base year and four option years that may be exercised at the option of the Government. The primary objective of services under this contract is to verify that the trailers serviced under the contract are fully operational and safe and will remain so throughout the coming year. All work on the trailers must be competed by May 1, 2006 for the base year.
