Description
This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC/542 EWSG-PKT anticipates issuing an Engineering Services/Procurement contract to Terma North America Inc located in Warner Robins GA. ALQ-213 (V) equipment delivery and engineering service effort. This effort will include the delivery by the contractor of prime mission equipment (ALQ-213), support equipment, and engineering services to the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center in support of the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF). Nineteen (19) each AN/ALQ-213 Electronic Warfare Management System (EWMS) for the F-16A model aircraft are needed as well as one (1) each AN/ALQ-213 EWMS for the F-16B model aircraft for a total of 20 units plus 7 additional units to support flight test at Edwards AFB, Software Integration Lab (SIL) at both TERMA and LM-Aero, and the aircraft modification line at Tusas Aerospace Industries (TAI). Total quantity yields 27 ship sets.In order to meet the required delivery schedule, an Undefinitized Contractual Action (UCA)is anticipated. Contract will contain an option for additional services and ship sets. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-OCT-2005).
