- Description
- The Department of Labor, Office of the Administrative Law Judges (OALJ) is seeking organizations to provide verbatim stenographic reporting services in support of the OALJ in a designated region. The contractor shall furnish such services as required by the OALJ in a specific region as outlined in this contract. Hearings are scheduled by the OALJ National Office as well as seven distribt offices. Hearing locations are selected with due regard for the convenience of the parties and the witnesses. Some statutes and regulations provide specific requirements for locations of hearings near the claimant's or complainant's residence. For this reason the delineations of the four regions cover the entire continental United States as well as some outer continental locations. The Contractor shall furnish such services in the form of a transcript of these hearings. Transcripts shall conform stricutly to OALJ format and guidelines. All documents will be issued through http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The estimated solicitation issue date is 08/09/2005. No telephone, written or fax requests from a requester will be accepted; all interested offerors must download documents from the internet. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-AUG-2005).
