Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency  Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Laser Technique Company, LLC, 14508 NE 20t h St., Bellevue, WA, 98007. This contract will be for an add-on sensor and to upgrade system software on YPGs existing Laser Based Inspection System (LBIS), which was designed and manufactured by Laser Technique. Award of this requirement will be in accor dance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETIT IVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by 14 December 2005, 4:00PM MST. Email your response demonstrating your firms experience and capability of providing this requirement to Edgar. Angulo@yuma.army.mil All inquiries shall be clearly marked with solicitation #W9124R-06-T-0004. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 9 days instead of 45 days.
