Description

This will be a sole-sourced, firm fixed price contract to Army Hawaii Family Housing LLC. This is a sole source acquisition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source (requirement is to house re-deploying soldiers on Schofield Barracks to maintain unit integrity, command and control, and conduct medical screening and out-processing prior to sending home) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency (requirement start date is 29 December 2005). The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools , materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide partially furnished temporary rental units on Schofield Barracks for re-deploying Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard Soldiers supported by U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii, Island of Oahu. Housing source must be in close proxmity or on Schofield Barracks, HI, to facilicate out processing of approximately 2,000 soldiers during a 60 to 90 day period. Transportation assets are not available. The issue date for this solicitation is on 1 Decem ber 2005. The proposal due date is 2 December 2005 at 2:00 PM PST.
