- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. For equal items, include descriptions, catalogs, and other information for analysis of item suitability. Technical literature must be submitted for ?equal? products offered for the Government to perform a technical evaluation. No further request will be made to obtain required literature and failure to submit may result in your offer being eliminated from award consideration. (ii) This solicitation, FA9401-06-T-0009 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Provide separate prices for line items 0001 through 0005. (iii) This solicitation document, and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-06. (iv) This acquisition is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 334510 and small business size standard is 500 employees. (v & vi) In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.211-6 (Brand Name or Equal), this is a brand name or equal request for high-energy laser aplanats. Laser apalants must comply with the following requirements: Compatible with CVI Optics (CVI Laser, LLC) line items 0001 through 0004. Line item 0001: 2 each, LAP-100-0-20.0-1064, high energy positive laser aplanats, SF-11 glass, 5 J/cm2 damage thresholds, 100.0 mm focal length, 20.0 mm clear aperture, AR coated for 1064 nm R< 0.25% per surface, working distance 90.4 mm, back focal distance 28.6 mm. Line item 0002: 2 each, LAP-75.0-15.0-670-1064, high energy positive laser aplanats, SF011 glass, 5 J/cm2 damage thresholds, 75.0 mm focal length, 15.0 mm clear aperture, AR coated for 670-1064 nm R< 0.25% per surface, working distance 63.5mm, back focal distance 72.5mm. Line item 0003: 2 each, LAP-50.0-10.0-UV-1064, high energy positive laser aplanats, SF-11 glass, 5 J/cm2 damage thresholds, 50.0mm focal length, 10.0mm clear aperture, AR coated for UV-1064nm R< 0.25% per surface, working distance 38.4mm, back focal distance 47.8mm. Line item 0004: 2 each, LAP-500.0-100.0-670-1064, high energy positive laser aplanats, SF-11 glass, 5 J/cm2 damage thresholds, 500.0mm focal length, 100.0mm clear aperture, AR coated for 670-1064nm R< 0.25% per surface, working distance 486.0mm, back focal distance 491.9mm. Line item 0005: Shipping. (vii) Items MUST BE delivered by 30 Dec 05. Delivery will be FOB destination to AFRL/DELO, 3550 Aberdeen Ave SE, bldg 497, Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, N.M. 87117. Acceptance will be at the same address. (viii) FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) Evaluation factors shall be price and technical capability of items. (x) Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the quotation if not registered with http://orca.bpn.gov website. Offerors must also include a completed copy of the provision at DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation (see www.farsite.hill.af.mil for clause text). (xi) FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
