- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations for training on surgical instrument identification, and tray and instrument preparation and decontamination for the medical staff of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, 820 S Damen, Chicago, IL for the period of January 10, 2006 through June 8, 2006, in accordance with all specifications, work statement, terms and conditions contained therein. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their proposal. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency/capability to perform services and satisfactory past performance record. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and this acquisition is unrestricted. The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611430 and $6.0M. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer at the GLAC and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
