- The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with B. Braun Medical Inc. 824 Twelfth Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18018-0027. This BOS announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. A justification for other than full and open competition has been repaired in support of this acquisition. Request for Quotation is RFQ-600-441-06JM. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 and the Small Business Standard is $6M. This is a sole source action with B. Braun Medical Inc., for service maintenance for B. Braun Dialysis Machines. Contractor to provide annual preventive maintenance plus all parts, labor, travel to maintain B. Braun Dialysis machines to manufacturer specifications. On-site response time 24 hours. B. Braun medical equipment is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the dialysis machines. Hardware and software are proprietary. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted.
