Description
Work for Others (WFO) Program Management System & Database Support Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), ???When the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source??????, the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), intends to negotiate a sole source contract extension with Terradigm Inc., a SBA Certified Small Disadvantaged Business, 6001 Indian School Rd. NE, Suite 190, Albuquerque, NM 87110-2939 for continuing database development, maintenance and associated system support. Terridigm Inc., is the contractor that designed and operates the WFO NNSA-wide Project Authorization and Tracking System (PATS) Database and has a unique architecture, is proprietary in nature, and operates in a high security environment. The DOE/NNSA has determined that it is in the best interest of the Government to continue these services with Terradigm Inc., in order to avoid substantial duplication of cost that is not expected to be recovered through competition and for the continued consistent support for program review, analysis, administration, and information technology (IT) support services. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, NOR DOES IT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR COSTS INCURRED IN THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Interested parties having all or part of the capabilities to perform the services described above are requested to submit capability statements, limited to not more than 10 pages, to be received within 10 days of publication of this Notice to: U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration Service Center Attn: Christopher Duran. PO Box 5400, Albuquerque, NM 87185-5400. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of evaluating the intent of this notice and explore contracting opportunities. This notice satisfies the requirements of FAR Part 5. The estimated value of the base one year period, plus two one-year options, is $1,918,888.36 and is subject to the availability of funds. Questions pertaining to this planned action may be directed to Christopher Duran, Contract Specialist, at cduran@doeal.gov.
