- U.S. Government Seeks Expressions of Interest for Leased Office Space The United States Government presently occupies office and related space in Plainfield, Illinois, under a lease that expires January 31, 2006, and seeks potential sources for office space consisting of approximately 835 usable square feet located on contiguous floors, with four parking spaces. The space must be located within the corporate limits of Plainfield, Illinois. Space must be fully serviced in a building capable of being altered to meet the Government?s needs, comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and will be subject to any and all other building or construction rules, regulations, laws and/or ordinances on the local, county, state and federal levels as they may apply. Expressions of interest should include the following the proposed occupancy date, location of property, lease term, rental rate, operating costs, and any incentives that may affect the analysis of your proposal. The Government intends to use this information to determine the feasibility of relocating this office. Alternative space will only be considered if it is economically advantageous. This economic determination will include location, physical features of the building and surrounding areas, relocation costs, tenant improvements, and agency mission. No award of a contract will be made based on proposals received in response to this notice.
