- Description
- USCG, MLCP, Oakland, CA proposes to contract for DRYDOCK/REPAIR of CGC ANTHONY PETIT, a 175 foot buoy tender, home moorage of Ketchikan,AK. Work will be accomplished at a certified contractor's facility, located in Straits of Juan De Fuca, Puget Sound or Inland waters of Alaska, during the period of 3 May through 11 July 2006. Work may include, but is not limited to the following; Production Gantt Bar Chart, Z drive propulsion units overhaul, engine room louvers renew, cross deck winches repair, hydraulic chain inhaul winch repair, hydraulic chainstopper repair, buoy cargo handling crane repair, dedicated ballast water tank repair, exterior buoy decks preservation, underwater body preservation, drydock and temporary services. On or about 16 Dec 2006, a Total Small Business Set-aside Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only certified small business contractors may submit a proposal. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fedbizopps. In order to open and download the specifications offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
