Description

Project consist of: Asphalt paving of an accessible outdoor trail. The work involves adding fill to shape or level irregular surface areas, compact and asphalt pave approximately 1,947 feet of the trail at 6 feet width and approximately 131 feet at 5 feet width in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act Accessability Guidelines (ADAAG); and all appurtenant work specified and shown on Contract Documents. The trail areas are an archeological investigation site. No earth may be excavated from any area of the project site. Only fill may be added to shape or level irregular surface areas. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set aside exclusively for small business concerns. For informational purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 324121. Solicitation packages will be available free of charge approximately 12/14/2005 with quotes due on or about 12/28/2005 at 4:00pm.
