- ISSUE DATE: 12/16/05. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for Pump Station Renovations and Standby Generator at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT. The work for the base bid includes all work associated with the removal of an existing high voltage switch and the installation of a new high voltage switch. The work under Option One consists of all work associated with providing a standby generator, concrete pad, interior electrical distribution and lighting, and an automatic transfer switch. A site visit will be scheduled for this project and will be published in the solicitation package. The estimated cost range of this project is $250,000 to $500,000, inclusive of the option. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 12/16/05. The date for bid opening is scheduled for 01/18/06 at 11:00 am. This solicitation is 10% set aside for small businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 and the size standard is $12.0 million. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
