- Provide all necessary labor, material, transportation, equipment and supervision required to upgrade the existing fire alarm systems within the Garage Building, Medical/Exchange Building, Public Works Building, and Supply Building at Air Station Traverse City, Michigan. Work is listed as follows: 1. Furnish and install new addressable, network fire alarm control panel (FACP) in each building noted in project description. 2. The new FACPs shall be connected to Air Station Central Fire Network to provide peer-to-peer communications via existing multimode fiber optic interface modules currently installed in each building. Contractor shall provide fiber optic connection between existing fire optic interface modules and new FACP in each building. 3. Furnish and install new FACP within each building for remote monitoring over fiber optic cable network and report alarm, trouble, and supervisory signals conditions to Air Station Central Fire Network. 4. Furnish and install new fire alarm initiating (manual pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors, addressable interfaces, etc.) and new indicating devices (hors and strobes) throughout each building. 5. Replace existing conduit with complete new system for all fire alarm work. 6. New devices shall be wired using EMT conduit and shall be concealed in all public spaces such as corridors, stairwells, and second floor offices. Devices located in mechanical spaces and shop areas may be installed with exposed raceways. Contractor shall work closely with Base representative to coordinate exact requirements for cutting and patching of devices in existing walls, etc. 7. Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all existing abandoned fire alarm system devices, conduit, and wiring upon completion of the project. The period of performance is 120 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210 with a size standard of $12.0M. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency.
