Description
REQUIREMENT: The United States General Services Administration presently occupies office and related space at 801 Eye Street, SW, Washington DC under a lease that expires in February 2007. GSA seeks potential sources for alternative location for approximately 88,000 BOMA Rentable Square Feet of office and related space in no more than one building for a period of ten (10) years firm. GSA intends to use this information from prospective sources to issue a Solicitation for Offers to provide replacement housing for an existing requirement. The Government will relocate from existing space if economics involved and other factors prove to be favorable. The cost of moving, alterations, impact on the agency mission and other variables to be determined by the government, will be considered in the relocation decision. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards and/or combine multiple space requirements. LOCATION: All properties submitted to the Government must be located within the Central Employment Area of Washington, DC and North of Massachusetts Avenue. Requests for a detailed description of the Central Employment Area should be addressed to the Contact below. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE IN WRITING NO LATER THAN December 19, 2005 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1) Building name & address; 2) Contact information and E-mail address of Lessor?s Representative; 3) BOMA rentable & usable SF available (with Common Area Factor); 4) Asking rental rate range per RSF (based on GSA Warm Lit Shell); 5) Date building will be ready for commencement of occupancy (February 2007); and 6) If the building is being built, please provide detailed information on the status. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for commencement of occupancy February 2007.
