Description
This SYNOPSIS pertains to a single source instrument for the maintenance and services of electronic systems for Department of Defense facilities, other Government facilities as well as possible state and local municipalities. The electronic systems include but are not limited to Electronic Security Systems (ESS), Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA), Intercom and Mass Notification Communication (IMNC) systems , other Physical Security Systems (PSS), and other Control and Data Acquisition systems. The North American Industry Code (NAICS) is 561621, SECURITY SYSTEMS SERVICES (except Locksmiths). The Government is prepared to proceed with the issuance of the Req uest for Proposal (RFP) and currently intends to proceed with source selection and contract award for the electronic systems maintenance and services located in CONUS, OCONUS and other worldwide locations. This acquisition is to be an Indefinite Delivery/I ndefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for a total small business program (to include small disadvantaged business, HUBZone, and service disabled veteran owned small businesses) using full and open competition. Source selection will be based on technical and m anagement capabilities and a cost realism analysis, as well as other selection criteria. Specific factors are: 1 TECHNICAL AND MANAGEMENT APPROACH; 2 EXPERIENCE; 3 PAST PERFORMANCE; 4 COST/PRICE. The estimated magnitude of this project is up to $100,000, 000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A responsible source must be registered in the CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) website located at: www.ccr.gov, to register click on the VENDORS CORNER and follow the on-line instructions, failure to be registered is grounds for being an un-responsible source. Award is anticipated on or about 26 May 2006. The duration of the contract is expected to be approximately five years including options (base year plus 4 one year options).
