Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with applicable FAR clauses 52.217-6 and 7 Option for increased quantities. The solicitation document with incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition C ircular 2005-04. The NAICS code is 721110 and the requirement is unrestricted. This is not a DPAS rated order. The United States Army Electronic Proving Ground, Special Programs Office at Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals to meet the followin g requirements. We will be conducting a training session during February 18-24, 2006 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Requirements include a total of 1072 hotel rooms during the period of February 18-24, at the prevailing government per diem rate or below. S pecifics are 5 hotel rooms for February 18; 10 hotel rooms for February 19; 300 hotel rooms for February 20 ; 300 hotel rooms for February 21; 270 hotel rooms for February 22; 185 hotel rooms for February 23, and 2 for February 24. Requirements include me eting space as specified: 1 meeting room during February 18-24 for equipment storage for a minimum of 20 to 25 pallets; 1 meeting room during February 18-24 for program administration; and 12 meeting rooms during February 20-23 for classroom instruction. On site security is required for all meeting rooms. Food and beverage requirements include an evening dinner reception for 330 on February 20; breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks on February 21 for 330; 240 for February 22; and 210 for February 23. Limi ted audio-visual support and other miscellaneous support are required for the session. Proposals unable to meet all of the above specified requirements will not receive consideration. Evaluation Criteria/Procedures: Offers will be evaluated based on the f ollowing best value criteria in descending order of importance: (1) Meeting the requirement (2) Proposed Schedule Dates (3) Past Performance, and (4) Price. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, applies to the acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition (See evaluation criteria below). Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Off eror's Tax Identification Number, CAGE Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number, and applicable FSC Codes with its offer. FAR clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Requ ired Implementing Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Payment will be made by Government credit card under Net 30 Terms.
