- Contact: Mr. Larry Cooper is the Contract Specialist and Mary Wright is the Contracting Officer for this procurement. They can be reached at (618) 229-2507/2559 respectively. The HQ Air Mobility Command Contract Airlift Division at Scott AFB, IL issues the attached draft statement of work for comments from industry on a requirement to acquire Intra-Theater Airlift Services in the Horn of Africa. A requirements contract for a base period and four option years is anticipated. The resulting contract will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) basis. Industry comments are invited to improve the acquisition of these airlift services. Comments are due by COB 7 Dec 05 to allow adequate time to prepare answers to questions and comments. These will be presented at the pre-solicitation meeting scheduled for 13 Dec 05 at Scott AFB IL., Building 1600, first floor, DS Conference Room from 0900 to 1500 local. The final RFP will be issued at a later date. Contractors must notify Mr. Larry Cooper at larry.cooper2@scott.af.mil or by fax at (618) 256-2804 by 10 Dec 05 of their intent to attend the pre-solicitation meeting. The notification must include full names of attendees. Please note that for entry to the base a current driver?s license, valid insurance, and current vehicle registration are required.
