Description
Solicitation FA481-05-T-0086 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This combined synopsis/solicitation shall serve as the only announcement for this requirement. This procurement is being conducted as a 100% small business set-side. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 446191. The applicable standard size is 500 personnel. Offers are due by 4:00 p.m. 30 December 2005. The purpose of this agreement is to: Provide a Juice and Nutrition Bar concession within the Holloman AFB Fitness and Sports Center. Hours of Operation for this concession are M-F 0600-1900, Closed Saturday and Sunday; once a stable traffic flow has been established, operating hours may be reviewed for practicality and changes may occur with prior approval of the contracting officer. The contractor will provide A monthly work schedule to the Fitness and Sports Center director. The average daily patronage visiting the Fitness and Sports Center is approximately 1925 patrons. The contractor must be able to adjust hours of operations when contingencies or base-wide exercises affect normal operating hours. There are no more than three military sponsored events/health fairs held in the Fitness and Sports Center annually. There are no Army Air Force Exchange Store (AAFES) vending machines located in the Fitness and Sports Center. The Fitness and Sports Center Observes the following Federal holidays: Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November) and Christmas Day (25 December. The contractor shall ensure appropriate levels of qualified personnel are available to conduct business during the hours outlined. Contractor/personnel must present a professional appearance. Appearance must also distinguish concessionaire from daily patrons. The government shall provide without cost to the contractor use of the following: Ice Machine (1ea), refrigerator (1ea), Freezer (2ea), double sink, safe (1ea), shelves (6ea), cash register with cash box (1ea). The Fitness and Sports Center reserves the right to use any government furnished equipment during special military events. The contractor shall provide to the contracting officer and fitness center director the names and phone numbers of all contractor personnel who will be on call for services.
