- I. INTRODUCTION. A. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the synopsis and a solicitation will not be issued. B. The synopsis number is: W56HZV-06-P-L528 C. This acquisition is not set aside for small business. The NAICS codes applicable to this acquisition is 337212, Custom Architectural Woodwork and Millwork Manufacturing. D. Basis for Award A sole source award will be made to National Millwork, Inc., the Only Responsible Source, FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). National Millwork is the original manufacturer of portable display boards that are currently in use and have been for the las t three years by TARDEC. All future display parts must be fully cross functional with the existing displays. II. GENERAL. A. The United States Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for portable display panels. B.
