Description

This specification establishes a requirement for upgrading and refurbishing of two (2) Transmission Test Stands located at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama. This specification describes the test stands to be upgraded to allow full performance testing of Hydro-Mechanical Units. Only one test stand will be upgraded at a time. All parts will be completely inspected to ensure they meet factory tolerances for new equipment. The contractor shall perform all upgrading and testing on site at Annisto n Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama. Normal operations shall continue throughout the entire duration of the overhaul. Only government approved vendors may be considered in future procurements. North American Industry Classification System is 334519. Size st andard is 500 employees. . This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render a bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejections of same.
