- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for Tyndall AFB for the following commercial item: Item: 1) Narda Radio Frequency Meter and Probe (Model number 8718-B and 8721D) or equal. System must meet the following specifications: time averaging, spatial averaging, auto zero, adjustable alarm, threshold, measured data memory, optical interface for transferring measurement data backlit display, internal test source, and be completely portable. System must also include meter, model 8744-04 or equal cable, operator?s manual, carrying case and interchangeable model 8721D E-field probe. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 334515 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is: 500 employees. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25 and Defense Change Notice 20041215. FOB: Destination for delivery to Bldg 1465, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
