- The USCG Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific in Alameda, CA proposes to contract for the Dry Dock and repair of the USCGC KITTIWAKE (WPB 87316). The cutter will be available for performance from 26 April 2006 through 06 June 2006. The work may include, but is not limited to Production Control, Gantt Bar Chart Provide; Hull Plating Renewal Underwater Body Inspect; Hull Plating, Underwater Body Ultrasonic Testing; Appendages (Underwater) Leak Test; Appendages (Underwater) Preserve, Internal; Voids (Non-accessible) Leak Test; Voids (Non-accessible)Preserve, Internal; Tanks (MP Fuel Service) Clean and Inspect; Tanks (Dirty & Waste Oil) Clean and Inspect; Propulsion Shaft Seals Mechanical Inspection; Propulsion Shafting Remove, Inspect and Re-install; Propulsion Shaft Bearings (External) Check Clearances; Propeller Clean/Inspect; Fathometer Transducer General Maintenance; Sea Valve (<=2.5 inches) Renewal; Sea Valve (>2.5 inches) Overhaul; Rudder Stock Bearings Check Clearances; Rudders Inspect and Repair; Grey Water Holding Tank(s) Clean and Inspect; Sewage Holding Tank Clean and Inspect; Hull Plating, Underwater Body Preserve Partial; Rudders (Exterior) Preserve; Cathodic Protection, Zinc Anode Renewal; Deck Coverings (Interior Polymeric) Reseal; Temporary Services, Dry Dock Provide; SEa Trials; Dry Docking Accomplish.
