- Description
- McChord AFB WA intends to establish a Fixed Price Utility Contract for Base Refuse Services. Contractor shall perform all collection and disposal services for Base and Housing areas and provide all labor and equipment (Vehicles, dumpsters/dropboxes and residental containers) as required by the Statement of Work. The contract will be a Utilities type contract starting 1 Oct 05, for up to 10 years with annual reviews. A Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to perform on McChord AFB is required. The contract will be accomplished as a Commercial Item in accordance with FAR 12 Utilizing Commercial Acquisition Procedures and FAR 15 Contracting by Negotiations. Offers will be evaluated utilizing Best Value Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 July 2005. The solicitation and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posing System (EPS) site at www.eps.gov. Proposals are due by close of business (4:30pm PST) 25 Aug 2005. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (08-JUL-2005).
