Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for a Service Agreement for Life Safety Wet Sprinkler System and maintenance Service for fiscal year 2006 with one (1) year plus five (5) option year. The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, material and equipment for consultation, inspection, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency maintenance, repairs and testing for the fire sprinkler systems, Note: This contract includes the weekly inspection of the electrical and diesel engine fire pump system located in the Annex Building and Main Building, work to be performed in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 20, NPFA 25, NFPA 101 and the manufacture?s instructions. (SEE ATTACHED WORK STATEMENT). The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 333999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-06-0131. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotation may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number. DUNS numbers, size status (that is small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on December 01, 2005.
