Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought Synopsis) is to determine if there are sources that can supply the potential requirement. The requirement is a three part requirement, as follows: Part one is to provide Information Technology (IT) Technical Services to maintain, enhance, and support the Armed Forces Claims Information Management System (AFCIMS). The AFCIMS was developed to improve the processing and tracking of claims and to generate management reports. Part two is to provide (IT) Technical Services to maintain, enhance, and support the Automated Military Justice Analysis and Management System (AMJAMS ), created to automate the generation of Military Justice cases (Article 15 and Courts Martial) and the appropriate forms, tracks the progress and history of those cases through the trial and appellate processes and produces management reports of various types. Part three of the potential requirement is to provide (IT) Technical Services to maintain, enhance, and support SUN/UNIX/Web/Oracle platform used to host AFCIMS and AMJAMS. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company?s full name, business size, business type, address, point of contact, experience with similar projects, three (3) references and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the item the government is seeking. Final responses to this RFI will be due on 28 November 2005. Responses will be reviewed and may result in further clarifications to further explore commercial capabilities with selected respondents. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Please see Performance Work Statement (PWS)link for requirement details. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral requests will not be accepted in response to this notice.
