Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-06. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This procurement is set for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621512, and the small business size standard is $11,500,000. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order for the following: Salient Characteristics for the Masking Flat Panel View Box Flat panel masking illuminator used for enhanced view of X-Ray film with the following characteristics: *24 CCFL light source with 20,000 hour life, *Push on/off and dimming rotary switch, *Rolling cylinder film clip, *Manually adjustable sliding shutters from four sides for masking film with the ability to block unwanted light around films of any size and also reveal light by quadrant on a particular film or to collimate down to a single lesion, *Dimensions: 35 1/8'' x 38 1/2'' x 2 5/8'', * View: 2 tiers of 21 5/8'' x 11 1/2'', *Film Capacity; 2 over 2 of 24x30cm or 3 over 3of 18x24cm, *Luminance of 8,000 units with 30%-90% dimming, *Wall mountable, and *Any necessary cords or adapters to power the above.
