- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide Automation Control Components for the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster Control System retrofit. The materials and equipment are comprised of 23 line items, which are specified in the Request for Quotation. Offerors may provide brand name or equal. Components shall be shipped to the NOAA Port Office Charleston, 1050 Register Street, North Charleston, SC 29405. Items are due for delivery no later than November 30, 2005. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote that will be considered by the Government. Only responsible small businesses shall download the request for quotation. The request for quotation is only available on line by downloading from this site. All contractors that intend on providing a quotation are requested to email the Contract Specialist, Michele McCoy at Michele.A.McCoy@noaa.gov and provide your company name, number and contact. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a Federal contract. For information regarding registration in CCR contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. Contractors are asked to provide their (DUNS) Dun and Bradstreet nine digit number along with their quotation. Quotes can be faxed to 757-441-3786 or mailed to U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, Eastern Region Acquisition Division, 200 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23510. No telephone requests will be honored. This is a Simplified Acquisition with a value of less than $100,000.
