- This combined synopsis/solicitation is extended to 23 November 2005. (i) THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for NonCommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business. (ii) This solicitation number N68335-06-T-0001 is issued as a competitive request for proposal (RFP). (iii) The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. This announcement is for the manufacturing of 50 each IRDS Dolly Adapters in accordance with the attached drawing package. The drawings also contain the requirements for the nameplate on the adapter, and will be needed when manufacturing this item. There will also be a Sustaining Engineering CLIN that will be issued with the award for a Not to Exceed value of $20,000.00. (iv) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS) are as follows: CLIN 0001, IRDS Dolly Adapter (3108AS400), 50 each; CLIN 0002, Sustaining Engineering, NTE $20,000. The Government reserves the right to award at a lesser quantity than those stated. (v) Multiple awards are possible. All items shall be preserved, packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with best commercial practices. Delivery shall be NLT 8 months after contract award. FOB Destination. Ship all items to: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Hwy 547, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Inspection and Acceptance at Source. Award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offeror. Offerors will be evaluated ona pass/fail basis. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price (FFP). (vi) FAR 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions ? Simplified Acquisitions (Other than Commercial Items), is incorporated by reference. (vii) DFAR 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests?, is incorporated by reference. (viii) Offers are due by 3:00 p.m. EST, 14 November 2005 at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, Attn: Code 25212 R. Maddock, Hwy 547, Bldg. 562-3, Lakehurst, NJ 08733-5082.
