- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for FA8601-06-R-0014: Project Number 950074; Period of Performance is 120 days. This is an UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. Full and Open Competition.. The contractor must be registered in the CCR prior to award of contract. Registration may be completed via the DUNNS+CCR website: http://www.ccr.gov/. NAICS: 236220, SIZE STANDARD $28M. Repair/Replace Overhead Distribution System. Project scope includes replacing poles, 15kV insulators, 15kV fused cutouts, 9/10kV lightening arrestors, and 15kV GOAB switches. Project also requires removal of overhead 15kV lines and installation of a new underground 15kV circuit. The site of the work is Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Prior experience with 15kV equipment and circuits is essential. A Request for Proposal including Performance/Price Tradeoff criteria is anticipated to be used. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000 Attachment to synopsis: NOTES: 1. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be available on the WWW on or about 1 Dec 2005. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be provided; however, you may download and print the file from the World Wide Web (www) at: http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil.. 2. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. It will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 3. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation for bid opening. Bids will not be publicly opened. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time proposals are due. 4. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
