- Furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to complete the project for Laboratory Function and Infrastructure Improvements at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, 1310 24th Ave., S., Nashville, TN 37212. This acquisition is 100% setaside for eligible 8(a) firms. Offerors must maintain a principal office within 275 miles of the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, 1310 24th Ave., S., Nashville, TN 37212. Offers from concerns other than 8(a) or with a principal office located beyond 275 miles will not be considered. Work involves renovation of existing architectural structures, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm system, and data systems. Work also includes replacement of interior finishes, installation of new toilets, medical gases and associated items. Removal of 2 AHUs and installation of 1 new AHU is also required. Contract award is subject to available of funds. Performance period is 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code is 236220. Pre-bid site inspection is schedule on 11/28/05 at 10:00 a.m. Prospective offerors should meet in Engineering Suite, Room 1-G126 at the VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN. Offer due date is 12/15/05 by 4:30 p.m. local time and shall be submitted to the Acquisition Service Center VISN 9, Bldg 5, Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Solicitation documents and amendments will be available for download on the VA Business Opportunitites Website or the Fed Biz Opps website. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Any and all question regarding this solicitation shall be in writing and sent to the Contracting Officer.
