- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), seeks to procure professional services to perform organizational development assessments of the Division of Intramural and Extramural Programs including Budget and Finance, Information Technology, Ethics, Contracting and Grants. The tasks required, but not limited to, are as follows: 1)Vendor shall assess the effectiveness of the current organizational structure of NIDDK's Executive Office and Extramural Administrative Office by using sister agencies within DHHS and/or other top-performing federal agencies as a benchmark; 2) Vendor shall assess the mission of NIDDK's Executive Office and Administrative Management Branch and ensure that the mission encompasses the needs of the Institute at large; 3) Vendor shall assess the current and 5-year forecasted workload of the Executive Office and the Extramural Administrative Management Branch; 4) Vendor shall clarify role and responsibilities of individual positions; 5) Vendor shall identify performance indicators for administrative services and establish metrics for measuring and assessing the current and future performance of administrative services; 6) Vendor shall assess the effectiveness of the current communication flow among the Executive Office and Executive Administrative Offices; 7) Vendor shall assess the morale of employees working within the Executive Office and Extramural Administrative Management Branch. This is set aside for a small business. A statement of work will be attached to the Request for Quote (RFQ) package. Responsible vendors that are capable of providing NIDDK with the services described above may request a copy of the RFQ in writing or by FAX to 301-480-4226 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-06-628 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is December 15, 2005. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 774C, Bethesda, Maryland 20817 Attention: Marlene Mireles. Fax quotations must contain offerors names, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
