- NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, P.O. Box 3700, Attn: J5620, Loveland, CO 80539-3003. The physical address for deliveries other than regular mail is as follows: Western Area Power Administration, 5555 East Crossroads Boulevard, Attn: J5620, Loveland, CO 80538. Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of 5 rooftop mounted condensing units with ground level mounted units, construction of reinforced concrete slabs and steel support structures for the new condensing units, installation of covered piping trays and sealed wall penetrations, and minor regrading to improve drainage in the work area. The project is located at the Virginia Smith Converter Station in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. The magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. There will only be one award from this solicitation. Therefore, all bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". This solicitation will be issued on or about December 5, 2005. The closing date is January 4, 2006. Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. This procurement is issued as full and open competition. The solicitation will be posted electronically at this web site. The specifications and drawings will be issued hard copy . Requests for specifications and drawings must be submitted in writing by faxing your request to 970-461-7377 or by email to sgatenby@wapa.gov. Information hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday.
