- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to perform Underwater Repairs to Pier 1 and along the northeast bulkhead at USCG Yard, Baltimore, MD. The work includes but is not limited to: realigning and securing wood piles, shimming wood piles and welding plate to a steel bulkhead. Prospective contractors shall have performed underwater jacking and shimming of wood piles (min. of 3 projects) and welding steel plate (3 additional projects) in the last five years. The estimated range is $25,000 - $100,000. Performance Period is 150 DANTP ? Once work commences at the site it shall be completed within TEN calendar days. This action is a total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS for this project is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $28.5M. The Prime Contractor shall perform, at a minimum, 25% of the labor at the job site with employees from its own workforce. Award will be based on Best Value. No telephone or written requests for solicitation or posting status. A bid bond is not required for offers under $100,000. A Plan Holders List or Bidder?s List is not available from this office. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings (if applicable) shall be available for download exclusively from the Internet o/a 11/23/05, (DO NOT call for project status ? when available the documents will be posted at FedBizOps) by accessing the U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit Cleveland website at http://www.fbo.gov.
