- Description
- This solicitation is for the purchase of small turbine aircraft in support of Fish and Wildlife Service aerial survey and waterfowl banding programs. This is an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, Commercial Items. Aviation Management is developing a fleet modernization and replacement plan to provide replacement airplanes for part of the DOI Bureau's existing fleet. This fleet consists of a mix of Cessna 182, 206, Partenavia and Dehavilland aircraft used in an aerial survey and mission support roles. Aircraft offered under this solicitation will be required to be certified by the FAA under 14 CFR Part 23 prior to delivery. The solicitation is expected to be issued November 15, 2005 with a closing date established for December 15, 2005. This requirement is not set-aside for small business.
