This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase of 169 each Tow Bars to be delivered 30 November 2005 to FORT RILEY, KANSAS 66442 Extended Description HMMWV Tow Bar System, Part No. 2509-100-001, 52 LBS, 15,000 LB Tow Rating Self Adjusting and Self Locking. Connects to pintle and tie down hooks .Self Locking clamp on rod extensions, Tow Rods Telescope freely outward permitting conn ection to other vehicles with out vehicle alignment. Pressure sensitive release clamps to return to stowed position. There is an urgent and compelling need to expedite the purchase of this award. Contract will be FFP, FOB Destination. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Effective on October 31, 2005. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 339999with a size standard of 500 employees. There are contract lines, items(0001) to (0007) for a total quantity of 169 ea. (Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). Award shall be made to the best value; delivery, technical, past performance and price proposal. You shall submit commercially available literature on your unit that demonstrates that all of the above capabilities are met.
