Description

JOLIET JOB CORPS CENTER SCOPE OF WORK HEATING FOR ROOMS BEHIND SMALL AUDITORIUM The CPP classrooms behind the small auditorium have no heating. The contractor will install 5 hot water coil units to provide heating for this area. 1. The contractor shall provide 5 hot water coil units positioned to provide heating to the CPP classrooms behind the small auditorium. The contractor is to design based on the room capacity. The contractor shall verify the location of hot water tie-ins from the tunnel and the pipe route. The contractor shall provide all the necessary labor and materials such as pipes, hoses, pumps, etc. required to isolate and drain the lines prior to cutting the existing lines and making the connections. 2. The contractor shall verify location and extent of demolition required to accomplish the work. 3. Construction debris must be removed from the site, and the construction area must be secured to the Center?s satisfaction at the end of each day. Any damage to walls, ceiling shall be included as repaired back to existing condition. 4. The contractor will coordinate with the Center Director and the Finance and Administration Director to ensure student training and Center operations are not disrupted during the construction process. 5. All work must meet the latest edition of Building Codes and Fire Codes. 6. The contractor shall at all times abide by the Center?s rules and regulations. 7. The contractor will comply, as applicable, with the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Act, and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. 8. All materials, services and labor shall be warranted free for a period of one year. 9. The contractor shall test and demonstrate the proper functioning of the newly installed hot water coil units to the Center?s satisfaction. 10. The contractor will provide and maintain competent and adequate supervision at the construction site to ensure that the complete work conforms with the approved plans and specifications and will furnish progress reports and such other information as may be required by the Center. 11. The contractor will initiate and complete the work within the applicable time frame after receipt of approval of the Center. 12. The contractor will comply with all Federal statutes relating to non-discrimination. 13. The contractor will prepare and submit a complete set of plans for the installation of the system for Center review and approval. 14. Determine best time schedule for work to be done, regular work hours and or off hours and/or weekend.
