Description
National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requires an instructor, or educational organization, to conduct on-site classes. The topic of instruction will be Writing Performance Work Statements. 25 to 30 people will attend each session. The attendees shall include acquisition personnel, program/project managers and contracting officers' representatives. The class sessions shall not exceed five days. The classes will be conducted in November 2005 and/or January 2006. The course shall be conducted at NARA’s Archives II location in College Park, MD. The contractor must show that they have previously conducted their recommended course for federal agencies, and have received favorable response. Personnel from NARA may attend classes conducted at the contractor’s training facility for evaluation purposes. Responses to this RFI should be brief (15 pages or less) and should include the syllabus for the recommended course, the resume(s) of instructor(s), and past performance references. If any response contains proprietary information, the responder should clearly identify which portions of the response are considered to be confidential business information. Based on responses received, NARA will decide whether to issue a solicitation for the demonstration and optimization of potentially promising assays. This RFI is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Responses to this RFI will not be considered as proposals or offers which could be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
