- NAICS Code: 334516 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Hamilton Thorne Research, 100 Cummings Center, Beverly, MA 01915, to upgrade the hardware and software on the HTM-IVOS Motility Analyser to be in full compliance with 21 CFR Part 11. Hamilton Thorne Research has exclusive copyrights, patents, and/or trade secret ownership and therefore the only vendor that satisfy the requirement. In order to ensure data compatibility and accuracy the circumstance permitting is FAR 13.106(B) "only one source reasonably available". The intent of this notice is to determine if any other source(s) exist, and therefore, no solicitation (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response failing to provided the aforementioned data and instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be ignored. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties who can meet the above requirements may submit written qualification statements, fully explaining their capability no later than 10 days after the date of this publication.
