- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement for Technical Support Maintenance in support of Naval Base Kitsap, Steam Plant to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Emerson Process Management, 200 Beta Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15238-9972 per FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement, A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All system maintenance is proprietary in nature and are not available for release to other contractors or government offices. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized. A firm fixed price service type contract is anticipated. The period of performance will begin on the date of award through 30 September 2006. The RFQ will be issued on or about 07 November 2005 with a 7-day closing. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
