Description

This procurement is to provide labor and materials; to provide service, maintenance, repairs, and inspections on Caterpillar Engines, on Sealift Logistics Command Ships, East and West Coasts. Contract performance shall take place in the Norfolk, Hampton Roads VA. Area and, in San Diego CA. This procurement is unrestricted. The Government anticipates making multiple awards from a single solicitation, one on the east cost and one on the west coast. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. Only genuine Caterpillar parts and equipment are acceptable. All offerors must demonstrate that the work will be performed in an authorized Caterpillar repair shop or, under the direct supervision of a certified Caterpillar Service Representative. The solicitation will be issued on or about 03 December 2005.
