Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA4803-06-QA002 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-06, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 20051011 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2005-0818. For informational purposes the North American Industry Classification System code is 423690, Other Electronic Parts and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. This acquisition is full and open with 100% Small Business Set-aside. This is a firm-fixed price procurement and will be procured using commercial item procedures and award selection will be made based on price. Requirement is for: 3 each R2670B General Dynamics Communications Test Analyzer; 3 each CM701 General Dynamics Option/Hardware Module to house transmission formats; 3 each CM707 General Dynamics Option/ AES Encryption; 3 each CM708 General Dynamics Option/DES, DES-XL Encryption; 3 each CM711 General Dynamics Option/Transmission Format Securenet; 3 Each CM712 General Dynamics Option/Transmission Format Astro Vselp; 3 each CM713 General Dynamics Upgrade Option/Transmission Format Upgrade Project 25 compliant, retrofit; 3 each CM714 General Dynamics Option/Transmission Format, Project 25 (9600 Baud CC) Trunking (P25 CAI); 3 each RLN4497A General Dynamics Option/Analog Trunking with Astro (3600 Baud CC) trunking; 3 each 1580357B77 General Dynamics Accessory/Canvas Cases; 3 each RVN5027B General Dynamics Auto Test Suite; 3 each A001 General Dynamics Accessory/ Hard-sided Transit Cases; 3 each 44AP/N Telewave Broadband 25-1000 MHz watt meter with RF tap, Requires no elements or bandswitching. Attention is drawn to FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, and the requirements for submittal of technical/descriptive documents. The following FAR provisions also apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; The offeror?s quote should be submitted and shall contain the following information: Request For Quotation number, time specified for receipt of offers, name, address, telephone number of offeror, terms of the expressed warranty, price, any discount terms and acknowledgement of all solicitation amendments (if applicable). Quote shall also contain all other documentation specified herein. Offerors shall include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions and provisions included in the solicitation. Period of Acceptance for Offerors: The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 90 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is stated in an addendum to the solicitation. Late offers: Request for Quotations or modification of quotes received at the address specified for the receipt of offers after the exact time specified for receipt of offers will not be considered. Evaluation/Award: IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation once an evaluation has been accomplished. Offeror Representations and Certifications are required for this solicitation.
