- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Although this is a combined synopsis/solicitation, please refer to the hard copy solicitation available on the Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/. You must submit your proposal on the hard copy solicitation. From the Gateway homepage, left-hand sidebar, select ?Search RFPs.? Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 09 November 2005. Closing Date is 09 December 2005. The solicitation SP0406-06-R-0639 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will result in a Fixed Price/Economic Price Adjustment Indefinite Quantity Contract for a base year and two one-year option periods for NSN 6840-01-437-4786. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR. This procurement is unrestricted, other than full and open competition. This is a commercial item. MSDS and hazardous warning label are required. Original Manufacturer?s commercial unit packaging is required. Repackaging is not authorized. Stock delivery to SRG Richmond VA and AQ5 Tracy CA will be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. QAP 001 applies. Unit quantity is a 1 gal container. Delivery is 36 DARO. Base and Option Year Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Stock to SRG (Richmond VA) is 23 GL; Stock to AQ5 (Tracy CA) is 52 GL. Item Description: Microbiocide. Approved source is Arch Chemical, CAGE 1KKN2, P/N Vantocil IB. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
