- Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source, under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy the Agency's Requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is to purchase (1) Diesel Engine for a Small Unit Riverine Craft (SURC) Part # 6LY2A-STP. Interested firms must submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 9:00am., EDST on 9 Nov 2005 via facsmile to (910) 451-2193, mail to Contracting Division, P.O.
