- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Philadelphia Division intends to procure on an unrestricted basis services in support of Career Management Symposiums for Navy Personnel Command?s Center for Career Development (CCD), Millington, TN. The selected contractor will be required to continuously research private industry trends in areas that will allow an objective comparison between private sector careers and military occupational specialties. Research would include hiring trends, pay and compensation, working conditions, medical/dental benefits, retirement programs, educational benefits, and vacation/holiday benefits. This research will be provided to CCD for inclusion in formal presentations as part of CCD?s Career Management Symposiums. The presentations will be designed to provide officers, enlisted personnel and their spouses private sector information necessary to make career decisions regarding continued Naval service. The resultant contract is estimated to commence 1 Mar 06 through 30 Sep 06 and consist of options totaling 53 months for a total performance period of 60 months, if all options are exercised. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The instant acquisition shall be conducted using the test procedures at FAR 13.5. Interested vendors will be asked to submit price and technical proposals. The evaluation for contract award will consider technical more important than price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541990. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release, which is anticipated on or about 21 Nov 05 at the NECO web address: www.neco.navy.mil. Interested parties may download the RFP from the NECO website and are solely responsible for monitoring the above-mentioned website for posting. See note: N/A Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instructions. In addition, offerors are required to go-online to the Business Parnter Network at http://orca.bpn.gov to complete their Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to submittal of a proposal.
