Description

TACOM-Rock Island has requirements for Puller,Mechanical (Universal Joint Puller Kit), NSN: 5120-01-210-4096. The Puller shall be brand name or equal to SPX, Owatonna part number 7057. The puller shall be capable of removing bearings from Spicer 1 600/1610 through 1880 series universal joints and Rockwell 16N, 17N, 18N, and 1710 series universal joints without damage to the yokes, driveline, bearingcups, or cross. Other requirements can be found within the solicitation. Planned issue date of the so licitation is 21 November 2005. The government may order up to a maximum quantity of 5,000 each over the life of the contract. The solicitation is unrestricted and will result in a five year, firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (I DIQ) type contract. Guaranteed minimum contract quantity will be stated in the solicitation. First Article Testing is not required. This solicitation will be issued electronically.
