- This Sources Sought Notice replaces notice FA4890-04-R-B1B52 posted on 7 July 2005. Air Combat Command is planning to purchase nonpersonal services for B-1/B-52 Aircrew Training and Courseware Development. The period of performance will cover a one-year base period with four, one-year options. The places of performance will be at Dyess AFB, TX, and Barksdale AFB, LA. The government expects to make an award on or about 21 June 06, with a two month phase in (Aug-Sep 06) and performance start date of 1 Oct 06. This action will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 28 Nov 05. This posting serves as the government?s issuance of a sources sought notice. The Draft Statement of Work (SOW) and Style Guide will be posted with this sources sought notification. At this time, the government seeks industry input only from small business concerns to determine if this acquisition should be a total small business set-aside under the auspices of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 19. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611512. The Air Force will consider and respond to all input received. Industry response is encouraged to ensure all parties have maximum opportunity to participate in this acquisition. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information throughout this acquisition process. Hard copies will not be made available. Interested small businesses who are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS 611512 are encouraged to respond and submit their notification to this office NLT COB on 22 July 05. Responding small businesses may later be required to submit a capabilities package outlining their capabilities in key areas as determined by the government and relevant to the performance of this requirements. To assist us in maintaining a list of interested offerors for this potential procurement, please provide your company name, a point of contact, address, phone number and business size under the above NAICS code. This capability statement must provide evidence that the small business can perform at least 51 percent of the work required and is certified and qualified as a small business concern. This information will be used for market research purposes only and will not be used in any resultant proposal evaluation later. All information will be protected and safeguarded as source selection sensitive in accordance with FAR 3.104.
