- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and with an intent to award on a sole source basis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; No written solicitation will be issued. Solicitation Number HOR-06-0004 is issued as a request for quotation (RDQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541940, size 5.0. The Contractor shall provide CLIN 0001: Allotment of funds for emergency and routine care of service owned horse for Base Year starting 01 Nov 05 thru 30 Sep 06: Option year 1 the period of 01 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07: Option year 2 the period of 01 Oct 07 through 30 Sep 08: Option year 3 the period of 01 Oct 08 through 30 Sep 09. Unit of Issue: quarterly. The following FAR and DFAR clauses and provisions are applicable and will be incorporated into the solicitation by reference, and will be available in full text upon request. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC2005-06.
